It's been since September 30th since I last sat down to write you a Cozy Note, and I have missed you so much! A lot has been happening here at Copper G Creations. I am so excited to share — my first eBook is finished and is now sold exclusively on Amazon!

We are not too old to try. We are too old to be scared to try.
That sentence started this whole book. My daughter — author of 5 books now — kept telling me, 'Mom, our stories deserve to be told.' And my grandson, almost 17, who buys trucks, repairs the engines, fixes them up and sells them for a profit then repeats the process, reminded me we are in the same business. Building something from nothing with great arms and a lot of heart.
I am 62, wife of 18 years to a man I met on a dating site on the internet (how's that for old folks?), mom to a 7-pound King who thinks My Spot is Now His Spot, whose best friend is Rickey Racoon, who he carries by the tail just under two miles to Grandma's house.
In Book 1 you will meet all the stories you ask me about at markets:
· Chapter 1: Morning Duet 6:30am - 18 years - After 18 years of marriage, two 60+ bodies wake up. One creaks. One toots. Sometimes harmony.
· Chapter 2: Nylon Phone Leash - Yes, I have a nylon phone leash now.
· Chapter 3: Thermostat Throuple at 76 - Up two, down one, even numbers only. My spot is 76.
· Chapter 4: Pharmacy - 14 Orange Soldiers - Eight years dialysis, now 2 years post-transplant. Thank God every day.
· Chapter 5: Forklift - Great Arms - Treadmill Before Coffee - My bones file a formal complaint every morning, so I became a forklift.
· Chapter 6: Don't Just Go Look - 70 Miles Oklahoma to Kansas - You don't just go look at a puppy. Especially not 70 miles.
· Chapter 7: Great Escape - Starting a new job, Walmart Pup Gate, Wood frame woven plastic center, chewed a hole right through plastic woven center, camelled up for solid five minutes, I had no idea a tiny little chihuahua could hold so much water, NOT going back in that kitchen no matter how thirsty, Now you know why he is KING!
· BONUS: Grandma's House - Just Under Two Miles - Rickey Racoon by Tail - Grandma laughed until she cried.

Learning social media is akin to learning a new language wrapped up in learning a new culture. Yes, but I am too old to know I'm not HIP.

• Chapter 4: Are You Kidding Me? Get This... Van Halen and ACDC - My grandson listening to my favorite 80s bands! Grandma is just an older age woman with excellent taste in music.
• Chapter 5: Not A Cake Walk - More Of A Frosting Walk - Uuugghhh - Learning social media has not been a cake walk.
• Chapter 6: Thank Goodness For YouTube - My New Hero - My New GO TO APP - Get It? YouTube to the rescue!
• Chapter 7: Beep, Beep, Beep - CGM - Technology To The Tenth Degree - Two CGMs beeping in stereo at 2am to tell me my sugar is high after a frosting walk!
